We look at design holistically. Our backgrounds of working in the US and the Netherlands, for in-house and consultancies, has provided us with a distinctive insight and breadth of experience.
Our seven02 projects range from design and user research, to design languages and product development, to interaction design and identity & packaging design. We believe in designing across diverse markets which brings a fresh, insightful and inventive approach to solutions for our clients.
Prior to founding seven02, Rick & Linda worked in the US and the Netherlands for the studios of IDEO, frogdesign, Philips (Eindhoven), Ashcraft Design, Designworks/USA and Henry Dreyfuss Associates.
Our work has been recognized over the years through satisfied clients, numerous patents, and international design awards such as the IDSA, ID magazine, G-Mark, IF, Forma Finlandia 2 and Braun Prize.
Rick is also an Adjunct Professor in Industrial Design at CCA in San Francisco and has taught at Stanford University and the Design Academy Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
Rick received his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
Linda and Rick graduated from the University of the Arts (Philadelphia College of Art); Linda with a BFA in Graphic Design with Honors, Rick with a BS in Industrial Design.
