Our concept for a lounge seating system was one of three finalists in the Metropolis Magazine / OFS brands Hotseat3 Competition. Rick presented the design in Santa Monica, CA at the awards ceremony.

You wait. You text. You talk. You make notes. Jot is a system of lounge seating with an integral tablet surface. "Jot" is seeking a production partner.

The symposium, hosted by the Small & Medium Enterprise Administration, Ministry of Economics and the China Productivity Center, focused on challenges facing companies as they look to grow in the global marketplace.

The Tea Spot Automatic Teapot, was featured at the SFO Airport Museum Exhibition – Prototype to Product Exhibition. July 2007-January 2008. The exhibition featured thirty-three projects from the San Francisco Bay Area design community.

The Luna: Light + Air Door, designed for COCIF Cooperativa, won a Honorable Mention in the La Porta del Paradiso / a door to paradise competition by designboom.

Luna was also exhibited at the Milan Furniture Fair in the Milan Triennale.

Rick led a two day workshop on what designing experiences is all about at the China Productivity Center Innovation Design Conference. The workshop included hands-on lessons.
